The Ocelot™ Nano is a hand-held, automated mechanical debridement device for microinvasive tendinopathy. It has an oscillating stainless steel cutting tip designed to fragment and debride the treatment area which stimulates the body’s natural healing response. Safe

The Ocelot™ Nano is FDA-cleared for debridement and fragmentation of soft tissue.

  • Mechanical debridement of tendon tissue using a needle has been used by practitioners for decades and is well established. However, sharp needles are designed to AVOID damaging tissue which is one of the advantages of using a powered francine cutter.
  • During treatment, the Ocelot Nano can be advanced, withdrawn, fanned laterally, rolled, or used in whatever positioning the provider wishes. The Ocelot Nano generates zero heat, thus eliminating the risk of burns.
  • The Ocelot uses a durable 18 gauge introducer needle eliminating the risk of breakage.
Ultrasonic debridement procedures, by contrast, are fraught with risks. Adverse events like broken tips and patient burns have been reported to the FDA.
